Prospector Zeke Fun Fact: Did you know.......

Did you know that the Prospector Zeke quests all have a link to a different famous music group?  The Kingsisle game developers must be huge fans of music!

The Smiths of Wizard City - The Smiths was an English rock band that was only around from 1982-1987.

The Beatles (Beetles) of Krokotopia - The Beatles don't really need an introduction, do they?  Okay, out of their 275+ songs, about 270 of them are awesome, making it incredibly hard to choose just one.  I finally opened a page with a few of my absolute favorites and pointed to one.

(The) Stray Cats of Marleybone - Stray cats are a band from the 1980's.  They have a song called "Stray Cat Strut," which is also the name of the quest from Prospector Zeke.  However I will post a more well known song, "Rock This Town," below.

The Blue Oyster Cult (Oysters) of Mooshu - The Blue Oyster Cult is an American rock band formed in the 1960's and they still perfom today, although only 2 of their original members remain.  They have numerous popular songs that have all been covered by other bands.

The Stone Roses of Dragonspyre - The Stone Roses are another English rock band from the 1980's and 1990's.  They had only 2 albums, the first of which was also called The Stone Roses.

The Lounge Lizards of Celestia - The Lounge Lizards are a jazz group that formed in 1979.  They were reformed in the 90's.  Don't know much about them, as I don't listen to much jazz.

The Yardbirds of Grizzleheim - The Yardbirds are also an English rock band from the 60's.  They had some really well known members, such as Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page from Led Zepplin.

The Troggs of Wintertusk - The Troggs are yet another English rock band (I see a slight pattern forming here :P) from the 1960's.  One of their most famous songs is "Wild Thing".  I think everyone has heard this song at some point.

Okay, so I know this post had very little to do with Wizard101, but I think it's interesting to see where some of the ideas for the game come from.  So what do you think the next Prospector Zeke quest will be?  Comment and tell me your ideas!

Have fun in the Spiral and thanks for reading!

Wysteria uses The Wallflowers. It took until Mooshu for me to see the pattern.
